‘Kamala’: Released the trailer
Ranjith Sankar directing ‘Kamala’ starring Aju Varghese in the lead have unveiled the first trailer of the movie. He essays the role of Safar in the movie which is touted to be a thriller based on incidents that take place in 36 hours. The trailer of ‘Kamala’ promises a gripping movie ahead. Aju, who is best known for his comic characters, appears in a totally different and serious avatar in the movie. Packed with some intense thriller elements, the trailer suggests that Safar is in search of a woman, a mysterious one. Apart from Aju Varghese, the trailer also features Anoop Menon.
There are high believes from director Ranjith Sankar, who has delivered thrillers like ‘Passenger’ and ‘Arjun Sakshi’. The filmmaker has said that Aju Varghese plays a simple, yet ‘complicated’ hero in ‘Kamala’. Ruhani Sharma is essaying the female lead opposite to Aju in the movie. The cinematography is done by Shehnad Jala and Anand Madhusoodhanan is composing the music for ‘Kamala’. Adhil N Asharaf has been roped in as the editor and the film slated to hit the screens in November.
