Terrorist attacked the security personnel in Kashmir Valley injuring 12 of them in a span of 4 hours. There have been five attacks in south Kashmir and one attack was reports in North Kashmir in a span of 24 hours. Police claim to have informed the security agencies about the threat but little was done to prevent it.
In South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, terrorists attacked a CRPF camp with grenades, injuring nine jawans in the evening. The injured jawans were shifted to a nearby hospital immediately. In the same district, terrorist threw grenade at a police station injuring two policemen.
In another attack of the evening, terrorist attacked the security personnel deployed at the residence of a retired high court judge in Anantnag district. Terrorist are reported to have snatched four service riffles and injuring two policemen.
Another attack was reported in yet another CRPF camo in Pulwama, but there were not casualities as the grenade they threw exploded mid air.
On Monday too, a terrorist attack was reported, injuring 2 jawans.
The series of attacks have been going in for a while now. Last week a civilian was injured as terrorist opened firing at a police convey at Srinagar – Jammu national highway. Terrorist fired 10 bullets of which one hit the civilian, injuring him critically.
