‘Satyameva Jayate 2’: first look poster released
John Abraham is all set to continue his success mantra ahead with the patriotism genre. The actor will appear on-screens in the follow-up to his popular 2018 action drama film ‘Satyameva Jayate’ exactly a year from now. The sequel being directed by Milap Zaveri, who also directed the previous installment, will hit the screens next year on October 2, 2020, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
John took to his social media handles to share the first look poster from the film. John’s character is seen sporting his chiselled body, wielding Tri-colour on his chest. Post his successful period with the first installment, the sequel is expected to be twice the action, emotion, power, patriotism and punch. John shared the poster on instagram and captioned it as, “The truth prevails AGAIN!! Returning next Gandhi Jayanti, October 2nd 2020 – #SatyamevaJayate2”
John played a castigator who goes on a corrupt cop-killing binge in the first installment of the film. Divya Khosla Kumar will join the team of ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’, who will mark her return to the acting space after directing two films. Along with John first look poster, the makers also released the first look poster of Divya Khosla Kumar.
‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ will also not be unnecessary of any action at the box office as well. The film is all set to clash with Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sardar Udham Singh’, Tiger Shroff’s ‘Rambo’ and Farhan Aktar‘s ‘Toofan’ on October 2 next year.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, the film is slated to release on 2nd Oct, 2020.
