Rahul Gandhi criticises PM Modi for his ‘Abki Baar Trump Sarkar’ remark

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has strongly criticised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his ‘Abki Baar Trump Sarkar’ – the remark which appeals for the re-election of US President Donald Trump – made in the ‘Howdy Modi’ event organised in the world’s most powerful country recently.

Meanwhile, he has thanked External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar for the effort he has put to cover the displeasure caused to the Democrats of the US by the PM’s statement.

The Indian EAM has recently appealed not to misinterpret the statement made by the PM in the event happened in the US.

Notably, the Congress scion has advised the EAM to teach the PM a little about the topic of diplomacy.

Many have interpreted the remark made by the Indian PM in the event as his formal endorsement to the US president’s candidature in the upcoming US Presidential Election.

That interpretation is what that has irritated the Democratic camp of the United States. What the Congress scion tries to say is that the EAM’s statement about the remark has helped to quell the irritation developed in the Democratic camp.

The US is at the door step of a presidential election. In the upcoming election, Democratic candidate Joe Biden is likely to take on US President Donald Trump.
