Miss South India 2017 Bavithra speaks out

_MG_3663Daughter of Vijayalakshmi and Bhaskar, Bavithra was indeed surrounded by those who made a smooth path for her. She was surrounded by those contestants who were ready to push harder for the victory. Reshma Nambiar (Kochi), Samantha Jose (Trichur), Anu Treesa (Kottayam), Reshma R K Nambiar (Calicut) Abhirami V Iyer (Tamil Nadu), Akila Narayan (Tamil Nadu), Bavithra B (Tamil Nadu), Carol Menezes (Karnataka), Demina Rao (Karnataka), Madhuri Jain (Tamil Nadu), Nishitha Shrinath (Karnataka), Pratheeksha Ravi (Tamil Nadu), Shabnam Ali (Karnataka), Slloka Saincherr (Telangana), Suja Suriya Nila (Tamil Nadu), Sunaina Allamraju (Andhra Pradesh), Sushmitha (Karnataka), Varna Sampath (Karnataka) were the 18 contestants who competed for the title.

“All of them were competitive and that’s the thrilling aspect of any competition”, says Bavithra recalling the grooming sessions, “They were giving their best yet the competition was healthy between us. We got along really well and were friendly with each other. We were happy for one another’s achievements”. Before joining the competitions, Bavithra did have apprehensions on how the overall competition will turn out. The experiences helped her to learn better for herself. “There were no politics, no partiality. We were judged for our work and our performances. That’s the biggest lesson I have received. When you work hard and give your best shot, then the result will be in your favour”.
