Kannada actor Chandrashekhar is no more
Senior Kannada actor Chandrashekar, who is popularly known as ‘Edakallu Guddada Mele’ Chandrashekar, has died of a cardiac arrest today morning.
As per the report, the disappointing incident has happened when he has been in Canada where he immigrated to after his marriage with renowned dancer Sheela.
The information regarding his demise has been initially publicised by his daughter, who is settled in Bangalore.
The actor who started his career with ‘Namma Makkalu’ in the year 1969 has so far acted at least forty super hit films.
The film ‘Edakallu Gunddada Mele’ was the film which gifted him a serious upward momentum in his career (the best part is that the people still recognise the actor by the name of this film).
In the year 1984, when he was at his peak of his career, he married Sheela and disappeared from the film industry.
It was in the year 2004, he re-entered into the film industry. After that, he directed a film, named ‘Poorvapara’, and acted in many.
After the year 2004, he accepted some film projects though he was settled in the North American country of Canada.
His demise will be a serious loss to the Kannada film industry. At this moment, it is not clear where his last rituals will take place.
Several renowned personalities have expressed condolence.
