Sania Mirza maintains top spot in WTA doubles ranking
Indian tennis player Sania Mirza is currently World No:1 in doubles ranking. She is on the top spot with 11395 points, followed by her Swedish match winning partner Martina Hingis with 11355 points. Sania-Martina partnership have garnered 26 victories, breaking Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci’s 25 back-to-back match victory in 2012. Sania and Martina have won U.S. Open, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Beijing, WTA Finals and Brisbane International. In the final match that took place in Brisbane Australia, they defeated Angelique Kerber and Andrea Petkovic, German pair, by 7-5, 6-1.
