‘Mann Bairagi’: Akshay Kumar released the first look poster
‘Mann Bairagi’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new venture is all set to present a special feature on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The film has been announced today on the occasion of PM Narendra Modi’s 69th birthday. The film is based on an untold story from the life of PM Modi which has not been in the public domain so far.
Actor Akshay Kumar took to his social media handles to share the first look poster of the film. Akshay Kumar captioned the post as, “Happy to present the first look of Sanjay Leela Bhansali & Mahaveer Jain’s special feature, #MannBairagi on the defining moment of our PM’s life on his birthday! #HappyBirthdayPMModi”
The film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and will be co-produced by Mahaveer Jain. The film is written & directed by Sanjay Tripathy. The makers feel that in the life of any great achiever there is a defining moment and ‘Mann Bairagi’ is all about that. It has been made with utmost honesty and sincerity.
Speaking about the film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali said, “What interested me in the story was it’s universal appeal and message. The story was very well researched and the turning point of our PM’s life, as a young man, really intrigued me. I felt that it’s a story that is unheard of and needs to be told”.
Director Sanjay Tripathy is certain that this film will touch an impression with everyone. He said, “For me, it’s a human interest story about the self-discovery of a person who went on to become such a strong leader of our country.”
