Jonali Nath, a BJP leader from Assam, was murdered by her boyfriend.

According to police, Jonali Nath was in a relationship with Hasinur Islam, 28, who has been detained in connection with her murder.

A 28-year-old man was detained on suspicion of murdering Jonali Nath, the BJP’s Goalpara district secretary in Assam, a day after her corpse was discovered adjacent to a national highway in the area. According to authorities, Hasinur Islam, 28, who was detained in connection with her death, was in a relationship with her.

According to IG Law and Order Prasanta Kumar Bhuyan, Islam was seized for interrogation after he confessed to the murder over 500 times in the previous two months. According to Bhuyan, the murder may have been motivated by their argument about his marriage to another lady. Several BJP leaders expressed their condolences on Nath’s death.

Pijush Hazarika, the minister in charge of Assam’s water resources has called for a thorough and speedy investigation.

Members of her family told reporters on Monday that the evidence shows she was brutally murdered and her corpse was dumped after the crime. The Goalpara Police Department has initiated an inquiry. According to officials acquainted with the issue, two people have been brought into custody. Jonali Nath, who died, was from Matia, a town in Goalpara.

According to reports, the lady BJP leader was murdered and her body was thrown on National Highway 17 near Krishnai. The residents in the Shalpara region near NH 17 discovered the tragic discovery late Sunday night and promptly summoned the police. According to the article, local witnesses noticed that the body showed various symptoms of injuries, indicating that she had been assaulted and murdered.
