From Wednesday midnight 24-hr-hartal in Kerala
The Sabarimala Samrakshana Samithi has declared a 24-hour hartal against the CM’s decision to execute the SC verdict. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan earlier statement that he would not go against the court for a legislation of the verdict allowing entry to women of all ages into the Sabarimala temple.
The temples conducting Navaratri celebrations, Sabarimala pilgrims and other relevant services including newspaper, milk and hospital cases have been exempted from the hartal.
The Hartal will begin at 12 midnight on Wednesday and conclude at 12 midnight on Thursday stated tSamithi General convenor Pratheesh Viswanath.
All routes to Sabarimala will be blocked by allowing base camos on all the five days while the Temple Nada is open. District coordinator Dhanush Palluruthy also presented at the media conference.
