CRPF Kills 4 Militants in Bandipora – J&K

CRPF killed 4 militants on early hours Monday as they tried to storm in to camp. The incident happened around 3.30 am in the morning. CRPF Sub Inspector, Yogesh Kumar, speaking to the news agencies, stated ” Terrorist tried storming camp around around 3.30 am to execute fidayeen attack. Thwarted, 4 terrorist gunned down”.


They started of by firing at sentry post, but the CRPF forces were pretty quick to react, killing the 4 militants. It was a mission successful for CRPF as they stopped the suicide attack. The militants were heavily armed. The CRPF recovered for AK rifles, one UGL (Underslung Grenades Launcher), UBGL grenades and hand grenades.

Talking about the incident, Shesh Paul, J&K DGP tweeted ” 45 Bn @crpfindia/@JmuKmrPolice killed 4 terrorist at Sumbal #Bandipore who were attempting suicidal attach on CRPF camp. #JainHind.”

Luckily no casualties were reported in CRPF camp. The camp has been alerted after a recent threat to attack continuously. Life doesn’t seem to be easy there but the forces are giving it all to protect our country from the further attacks. This success has definitely sent a note to the militants planning for a future attacks.
