simple ways to do manicure at home

STEP 1: REMOVE YOUR OLD NAIL POLISH

Remove your old nail polish using nail polish remover.

STEP 2: TRIM YOUR NAILS

Use nail clippers or scissors, trim the nails first. After cut the nails, then take a nail filer and start to filing your nails in one direction. Do not file them short, just clean up any points or roughness left by the clippers.

STEP 3: SOAK YOUR HANDS

Next you need to soak your hands in a bowl of soapy lukewarm water for about 10 minutes. The water and soap will help you to loosen dirt, dead skin, and dust over from filing. Gently clean your nails and skin around the nails using a nail brush.

STEP 4: REMOVE YOUR CUTICLES

Now apply any moisturising oil or lotion on your hands. This will help in nourishing and softening rough spots. Then take a cuticle remover and push back the cuticles. Trim excess skin with the help of a cuticle nipper.

STEP 5: SCRUB YOUR HANDS

To scrub your hands you can use the regular body scrub or you can prepare a homemade scrub by mixing olive oil and sugar together. You need to scrub your hands only for 3 minutes. The scrubbing will improve the blood circulation of your hands.

STEP 6: APPLY MOISTURIZER

Next apply any of your favourite moisturizer on your hands. Then gently massage your hands for few minutes. Finally wipe the excess cream on your hands and fingers with the help of a cotton cloth. Massaging will help to relaxation.

STEP 7: APPLY NAIL POLISH

First apply a base coat on your nails and allow it to dry. Then apply a thin coat of your favourite nail polish. Finish it with a top coat. Do not touch anything before your nails get completely dried.
