When the Mother of Tress touched forehead of President Ram Nath Kovind

Saalumarada Thimmakka continued the Dharma Bharata! The strict protocol of Rashtrapati Bhavan could not just control the motherly affection of 107-year-old Saalumarada Thimmakka, While she walked towards the dais to receive the Padma Shri award from the President Ram Nath Kovind to bless him. She touched his forehead to bless him.

Thimmakka, has also earned the epithet of ‘Vriksha Mathe (Mother of Tress)’ for planting, 8,000 tress includes of 400 banyan trees and was esteemed along with the other personalities at Rashtrapati Bhavan on March 16.

In a function that’s distinguished by strict protocols. The Vriksha Mathe drew a smile on the faces of the President, Prime Minister and all other rest inmates who collapsed into ecstatic applause for her.
