TS Kalyanaraman Wins Confident Group –MBA Award 2013
The Award Ceremony of the highly exclusive Confident Group –MBA Award was held on 10/08/2013 at the Dass Continental Hotel, Thrissur. The Award was presented in Association with the Rotary District, Thrissur. The Award was organized by Pegasus Group, Kochi and Unique Times, a premier business lifestyle magazine.
The winner of the fourth edition of this award was Mr. T. S Kalyanaraman, the Chairman and MD of Kalyan Jewellers. His vision is to do business with the primary objective of common social good through fair and ethical business practices. The Award was presented by the honourable Minister of Fisheries, Ports and Excise Mr. K Babu. The baton was handed over to Mr. T S Kalayanaraman by Mr VP Nandakumar, the MD and CEO of Manappuram Finance Ltd. Mr. Therampil Ramakrishanan, MLA, Confident Group MD Mr. T.A. Joseph, The Rotary Club District Governor K.A. Kuriachan (Kurian) and The Rotary Club President Rtn Er Wilson George gave away the felicitation speech.
In the past years eminent Business Persons were conferred with this prestigious Award. The Awardees include Mr. V P Nandakumar of Manappuram Finance, Mr. Joy Alukkas and Mr. M A Yusuf Ali who heads the EMKE Group. Since the award is highly exclusive, very high parameters set to select the winners. The parameters require a business size of 5000 Crores or more.
