Top court to verify safety measures in schools

While hearing the plea seeking a CBI investigation into the infamous ‘Gurugram kid murder’ case, the country’s top court, the Supreme Court of India, has voluntarily announced that it is going to examine that are the schools following the safety guidelines directed by the authorities.

A couple of days before, a kid studying in class 2 in a reputed International school located in Gurugram was discovered with his throat slit inside the school’s washroom.

Within hours after the incident, the police arrested a conductor working in one of the school’s buses.

There were allegations that the arrestee was wrongly framed in the case in order to save someone.

Anyway, today, the court has issued a notice to the concerned authorities as part of the proceedings on the plea in order to enquire their opinion on can a CBI probe be launched to investigate this heinous crime.

It is learned that the CEO of the school and his close relatives have filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Bombay High Court.
