Thiruvananthapuram witnessed the first transgender wedding.
Surya and Ishan the first trans couple of Kerala got married under special marriage act on Thursday. The occasion was blessed with both the sides families and friends.
According to statements, 32-year-old Ishan, who was once living as a man, underwent gender reassignment surgery two years ago and declared wedding to a reputed trans activist and television anchor Surya in April.
