Argentina is known for its outstanding natural wonders and topped to be one of the world’s hot-list countries. It is officially known as the Argentine Republic and is located in the southeastern South America. It is the eighth largest country in the world, the second largest in Latin America and the largest Spanish speaking one. From the Tropic of Capricorn till the tip of Antarctica it consists of the vast diversity of terrains. And it also consists of the flatlands of the Pampas and the dramatic steppe of Patagonia. The country is believed to have its roots in Spanish colonization of the region during the 15th century. It is being joked that Argentina is the most American of all European countries and the most European of all American countries but it actually has a very special character of its own which is distilled into the national ideal of Argentinidad. The Argentina society is being dominated by football, politics and living life in the vast lane. On the go it is evident to make us wow by the Argentines’ zeal for so many aspects of their own culture and curiosity about the outside world.

Argentina hosts a hundred of bird species which includes the Andean condor and three varieties of flamingo, foxes a tapirs roaming the country’s forests and mountain sides and the dizzying heights of the Altiplano or Puna. The other sightseeing includes a lush of tea plantations and parched salt-flats, palm groves and icebergs and it also hosts the world’s mightiest waterfalls. It also has a wide variety of outdoor adventures like horse riding, trekking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, skiing and hang gliding which goes along with more relaxing pursuits such as wine tasting, bird watching or photography safaris.

The Buenos Aires the capital city is one of the top attractions that one will get in Argentina. It is known to be the top tourist destination and is famous for its European style architecture and rich cultural life having the highest concentration of theatres in the world. It held the first Pan American Games in 1951 and also hosted two venues in the 1978 FIFA World Cup. It is officially announced to host the Summer Youth Olympics 2018. Argentina is also the birth place of the current pope, Francis and of Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.

The other main city worth visiting is the Salta and Ushuaia which is formally used as a penal colony due to its isolated location. Ushuaia is known for its unique beauty that makes it one of the most popular places to be visited. It is said to be the southernmost city and is located on the Beagle Channel and serves as a popular base for Antarctica cruises, winter sports and wildlife viewing.

This place also hosts the Iguazu falls which is located on the border of Argentina and Brazil. The Iguazu falls has topped its place under the Seven Wonders of the World. This fall has an average flow of 1.3 million liters per second and consists of about 275 individual waterfalls and cascades. It is one of the best attractions in the Argentina.

The other attraction in the place is the Perito Moreno glacier which is located in 48 miles from the town of EI Calafate and is 30 km in length. One can view the glacier from a small boat on Lake Argentino or can be also visible from three viewing areas on the land. Some visitors might be lucky enough to have a view of the breaking of a huge piece of ice from the glacier, falling into the lake. Those who want it to be more adventurous can go there by walk or by helicopter.

The Mount Fitz Roy also known as the Monte Fitz Roy or Cerro Fitz Roy is located near El Chalten village which is in the southern Patagonian ice field. This area is famous for hiking among the tourists who arrive to El Chalten for a day outing or for a night stay. The mountain was being first climbed in 1952 and is considered to be one of the most challenging mountains on Earth for the mountaineers.

The next place is the Bariloche, mainly known for its chocolate shops, Swiss style architecture and for the beautiful lakes and snow covered mountains surrounded it. Tourists must at least have a couple to nights to enjoy the spectacular landscapes and outdoor adventures.

Puerto Madryn located on the shores of Gulfo Nuevo is best known as the gateway to Peninsula Valdes. This place is a popular summer destination with beautiful beaches and landscapes. And the Mar Del Plata is the country’s top most beach resort city which is located on the Atlantic coast in the Buenos Aires province. It attracts a million of tourists every year to experience its sandy beaches and lively culture.

The second largest city after Buenos Aires in Argentina is the Cordoba which is best known for its concentration of Spanish colonial buildings, surrounded by valleys and mountains. It has an area known as the Jesuit Block which hosts the famous historic places, monuments and churches.

Mendoza is the capital city of the Mendoza province and is famous for its proximity to Aconcagua which is known to be the highest mountain in the Americas. It provides beautiful sceneries and outdoor adventures such as hiking, horse riding, river rafting.
