Society is now leading to being individualism. LGBT spectrum spells freedom of self-expression. An history is made, the Supreme Court of India has abolished the colonial era under Section 377 of the IPC that criminalised consensual homosexuality in India.
The Supreme Court today has overruled the 2013 verdict that the homosexuality will no longer an offence under Section 377 to engage in consensual sex in private. The court partly conveyed the Section 377 as violative of the right to equality.
SC termed part of IPC’s section 377 criminalises consensual unnatural sex, indefensible, irrational and manifestly arbitrary. Other aspect SC aspects of Section 377 dealing with unnatural sex with children and animal will remain in authority. Any kind of sexual movement with animals shall prevail panel offence.
