SpiceJet has announced its new offer of tickets at a base fare of Rs.1 as part of a sale. It has reported that more than one lakh of one-way tickets are available at this rate. The rate of the ticket is excluding the taxes and fees. SpiceJet has also mentioned that however for the round- trip travelling the regular fares are available. This offer is only available on selected non-stop flights and can be purchased only through the airline’s mobile app. The three day sale is scheduled to start on July 15 at 10 am and will be open till midnight, July 17. This sale is available for those who travel from July 15, 2015 to March 31, 2016. Under this offer, only two round trip tickets can be booked at the sale fare through a single mobile handset. The tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable. Apart from SpiceJet, many other domestic airlines have also come up with such offers in a way to boost up the market share in a highly competitive market.
