Smoking in car while travelling along with children in the United Kingdom will be banned. If caught then a fine up to 2500 pounds will have to be paid. This law is been enforced to protect the under 18 year old for the danger of second hand smoke. The ban will not be heavily enforced as the police chiefs said. The officers would motorists off with a warning, exercising “education not prosecution”.

“Three million children are exposed to second hand smoke in cars, putting their health at risk” says the Public Health Minister Jane Ellison.
