Shocking! Around 40 CRPF personals killed in suicide attack in Kashmir
Around forty Central Reserve Police Force personals have been killed when a suicide bomber has rammed his vehicle filled with explosives into the CRPF convey carrying as many as 2000 CRPF personals. The attack is the most dreaded attack the CRPF has suffered in the recent history. The central government’s representative has indirectly criticised the state government, saying that more precautions may have been taken. Meanwhile, the state government has retorted by saying that the state is at present under the governor’s rule so the state alone cannot be blamed for the security breach.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and several senior officials from his department are expected to visit the state today.
Pakistan based terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed the responsibility of the brutal attack.
The National Investigation Agency, the central agency designated to attack these kinds of terrorist attacks, has commenced their investigation into the attack.
The attack has been executed by a 20-year-old school dropout lived in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Notably, J & K Governor Satya Pal Malik has blamed the mainstream political parties for the volatile political climate that has engulfed the state.
Violence is not a solution to anything. Mainstream political organisations should distance themselves from those who are on that destructive path.
