Saudi Crown Prince in India

Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has reached India for a brief visit, as short as 30 hours. As against all precedents and conventions, the Saudi Prince has been received by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the airport.

Before visiting India, the Saudi Prince visited Pakistan. There also, his visit was given high importance.

Saudi Arabia maintains a good relation with India as well as Pakistan. The Saudi Prince’s visit to these countries has come at the time that the relation between these countries worsened due to a terror attack.

India recently suffered a serious terror attack. In the attack conducted by a Pakistan based terror organisation in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, as many as 38 Central Reserve Police Force personals lost life.

Few hours after the attack, India eliminated the mastermind of the attack who was hiding in a region located less than 15 kilometres away from the attack site.

The Indian government has given complete freedom to their solders to decide how they should react to the provocation created by the Pakistan-based terror organisation, which, India believes, is supported by the Pakistan Intelligence Agency (Inter-Services Intelligence).

The present visit of the Saudi Crown Prince is very important, as the Prince is of the option that the issues between Indian and Pakistan should be resolved with the help of dialogues.
