Sasikala accused of Bribing the jail officials

V.K Sasikala, AIADMK general secretary who at present is serving 4 year jail term has been accused of bribing Rs 2 crores to the jail officials. According to the reports Sasikala paid a sum of 1 crore to Karnataka Director General of Prisons (DGP) Satyanarayana Rao and other Rs 1 Crore was distributed among the sub officials of the jail for allowing her special privileges inside the prison.

Sasikala serving her sentence over Illegal wealth case, gets special menu daily, cooked in Kitchen specially set up for her near the jail. As per the reports put forward by Deputy Inspector of Prisons (DIG) Roopa Moudgil special treatment has been vetted out to a lot of criminals and inmates of the jail. She even stated that jail inmates had a positive result while their blood test was conducted to check on their drug usage.
