Ram Jethmalani steps down as Arvind Kejriwal’s counsel

Ram Jethmalani steps down as Arvind Kejriwal’s counsel as lawyer to fight against the civil and criminal defamation cases filed by the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal. Mr Jethmalani has been fighting a 10 crore defamation case on Kejriwal by Arun Jaitley. The spat between the two occurred following the denial of the fact that Arvind Kejriwal instructed his lawyer Mr Jethmalani to use offensive language against Mr Jaitley during the proceedings.

Jethmalani has also asked the Delhi’s CM to settles his outstanding legal fees thats approximately amounts around Rs 2 Crore. The lawyer accused Mr Jaitley to be a criminal during the proceedings of the Rs Crore defamation case. This lead to Mr Jaitey cross questioning the lawyer and asked if his client influenced him to use such offensive language against Mr Jaitley. Upon Mr Jethmalani’s affirmative reaction, he slapped another 10 crore defamation case against the Delhi CM. Following which Mr Kejriwal refused of giving any such instruction to his lawyer Mt Jethmalani.
