Rajasthan CM uses State Budget as a tool to regain her governance’s acceptance

The policies included in this year’s State Budget of Rajasthan clearly shows that the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje, is trying to use the financial dossier as a tool to regain her governance’s acceptance among all sections of the society.

No more budgets can be presented by the BJP-led government in its present tenure in the Indian state of Rajasthan, which is at the edge of the assembly election.

For that reason, this budget has attained more prominence and attention than the previous budgets presented by the same government.

The new Rajasthan budget is a populist budget. Through this budget, the CM has successfully wooed all sections of the society. In this populist budget also, the farm loan waivers are the prime attractive element.

The budget has earmarked a sum of eight thousand crores to grand a one-time loan waiver for poor famers up to fifty thousand rupees each from their outstanding short-term debt.

Experts say that the concerned authorities should take necessary steps make sure that the budgets are not used as tools to gain the support of common people.

A week before, the central government led by the ‘same’ BJP delivered a populist budget eyeing at the general election which is going to happen in the year 2019.
