Rain batters Nepal
Heavy rainfall has brought devastation in the mountainous country of Nepal. At least seventeen people have been killed in the country due to rainfall. Moreover, around six others have been reported missing in the country.
Morang and Bara are the places which have witnessed serious damages. Of these two, Morang is the worst affected region.
Around 400 families in Morang have been displaced to safe locations. In addition, at least 35 families from Bara have been relocated by the authorities.
It is not the first time the country has experienced a natural disaster. Because of its special geography, Nepal is very prone to natural disaster.
In the near past, the country faced a disastrous earthquake. That changed the face of the country beyond recognisable.
Anyway, through their determination and hard work, the people of Nepal always defeat the odds like these with much easiness.
It is hoped that this time also it will recover the disaster strongly the way it recovered from the earthquake it faced some years ago.
The authorities have deployed all available rescue forces to help the people in the affected regions.
