Prashanth Singh director of ‘Jabariya Jodi’ gets Threat Calls

Siddharth Malhotra and Parneeti Chopra were recently spotted in Delhi for promoting their upcoming movie ‘Jabariya Jodi’. As the film contains realistic aspects director Prashant Singh is getting threat calls from the real bahubalis(strongmen) of the nation.

As Prashanth Singh hails from the heartland, he knows a lot about the powerful people who are behind the groom kidnapping business. Prashanth himself crafted Siddharth Malhotra’s character from his dressing style to his dialect. The elements of the film are inspired by the real life bahubalis. Despite of the threats, they have decided to release it in the heartland.

As the movie is making quite a buzz, the trailer itself was a lot of fun and quirky as the theme of the film is ‘Jabariya Vivaah'(forced marriage). The film is basically about some of the real life events that took palce at Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The theme has been visualized in a very sensitive and fun manner possible.. But it has not got down well among the real life bahubalis. They called Prashanth and threatened him, not to promote and release the film.

They are continuously calling Prashanth after the trailer launch to stop promoting the movie and not to release the film. The real life baahubalis are a bit frightened and insecure about being exposed. The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh and is all set to release on August 2, 2019.
