PORK VINDALOO

INGREDENTS

Pork (cut into cubes) –  1 kg

Red chilli (seeded)      – 20 nos

Tomato Chopped      – 6 nos

Onion Chopped         – 4 nos

Vinegar                       – 2 tbs

Garlic & Ginger         -2 tbs

Mustard                     -1 tsp

Fenugreek                – ½ tsp

Tumeric                     – ¼ tsp

Jeera                          – 1 pinch

Oil                               -1/2 cup

Sugar                         – 2 tsp

Salt                            – to taste

METHOD

  1. Grind chilli, fenugreek, mustard, jeera , garlic and ginger in vinegar.
  2. Saute onion till light brown.
  3. Add tomato and cook till oil comes on top. Add the ground paste and cook well.
  4. Add pork and salt to taste.
  5. Fry for a minute or two and then pressure cook.
  6. When it is done add sugar.
