PM Modi visits UK
A day after his much lauded visit to the Nordic country of Sweden, the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has reached the European country of United Kingdome to attend the much awaited Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
The Indian Supremo has been welcomed at the UK Airport by the Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson.
The Indian Prime Minister’s visit to the United Kingdom will be an eventful visit. In his visit, PM Modi will attend a series of events, apart from the CHOGM.
The Indian leader will take part in a bilateral meeting with his UK counterpart, Theresa May. In the meeting, the counter-terrorism, immigration, trade and technology will be the prime subjects.
The Indian Supremo in this UK visit will also visit the London Science Museum where the ‘5000 Years of Science and Innovation’ exhibition will take place.
In the exhibition, PM Modi will take part in an interaction session with the Indian-orgin scientist and other scientists.
Noteworthy, several Memorandums of Understandings are likely to be inked between the United Kingdom and India in this crucial visit. Of the proposed MoUs, the MoU on the return of illegal migrants is the most important MoU which is supposed to be inked in this visit.
