Perumal Murugan set to launch his new book
Fearlessly fighting the odds, the controversial Tamil writer, Perumal Murugan, who was earlier forced to declare that he would no longer be alive as a writer due to the fierce criticism he received from a section of rightists for his acclaimed novel (Madhorubhagam), has announced his plan to launch his new book –Kazhimugam.
The latest novel is said to be a clear depiction of how modern technology influences the working class of our country. It is the first time that the modern subject of technology has been portrayed as a prime subject in a Tamil novel. At this moment, it is not clear how much deep the writer has gone in the subject. Considering the fact that the writer brilliantly covered all aspect of the subject he focused primarily in his previous novel, the writer is expected to repeat his style in his latest novel also.
While speaking at a literature meeting, he has claimed that now many youngsters prefer the field of writing and show interest in the habit of reading and other literature activities. He has added that this trend is very favourable for the writers. He has urged the writers to make use of the new opportunity in order to create a bright generation for the future.
