New Harry Potter book to be released

Fans are thrilled as the 8th sequel of the popular series Harry Potter is announced. The 8th installment is titled Harry Potter and the cursed child and it is in form of a script rather than a narrative novel.

David Shelley, chief executive of Little, Brown Book Group said in a statement “J.K. Rowling and her team have received a huge number of appeals from fans who can’t be in London to see the play and who would like to read the play in book format – and so we are absolutely delighted to be able to make it available for them“.

The book script will be published on July 31st, i.e Harry Potter’s birthday and it is based on an idea suggested by J.K Rowling. The play features an adult Harry Potter played by Jamie Parker and it is divided into two parts.

Harry Potter books sold over 450 million copies and in 79 languages. The 8 movie franchise grossed more than $7 billion worldwide.
