Lord Ganesha does not need DJ and Dolby Maharashtra CM

732137-ganpati-festival-05Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, defending the ban on DJ and Doly, he says “Lord Ganesh does not need such hi-tech sound amplifying systems during Ganesh Chaturthi. It has become our need for our enthusiasm. Traditional musical instruments are more enjoyable.”

As the government banned on DJ and Dolby sound, it has created a resentment among few Ganesh Mandal groups who celebrate the festival in public, however, the Bombay High Court upheld earlier this week.
The government had defended the ban on DJ and Doly sound in the high court that these modes can be played without rupturing the maximum sound limits permissible under the Noise Pollution Rules.
