Fashion industry in general does not have a good vibe in the eyes of the society. Was that a challenge for you when you entered the industry? How did you see that?
It’s true in most places in our nation given the limited awareness of fashion industry. The main reason would be fear of exploitation or exposure. But things are slowly and in fact in most cities, it’s a style statement to be a model. For me it was never a challenge to start modelling because my parents were very supportive.
What are the major challenges you faced while you came to the industry?
Luckily, I have not faced major challenges may be it is because I am from Bangalore which was and still is a fashion hub. Fashion industry is given very high regards there and I was mentored by the best fashion guru in India, Prasad Bidappa.
What is your future plan? Do you have any other big ambition?
My current plan is to focus on films. Future ambition is to be a fashion choreographer.
