Leena Maria Paul Arrested in Cheating Case

South Indian actress Leena Maria Paul was arrested along with her friend Balaji were arrested by the Chennai and Delhi Police in a cheating case which was registered in Chennai. Balaji and Leena Maria Paul had recently cheated an victim of Rs.76 lakh, with Balaji introducing himself as an IAS office and seeking an investment for a project. Apart from this cheating case Balaji alias Sekar Reddy had also recently cheated Canara Bank of Rs.19 crore, according to the BS Jaiswal, of DCP (south). Paul who has acted in many films such as Madras Café where she plays opposite John Abraham which is under production, Thousands in Goa, and Red Chillies, was found hiding away with her friend in a south Delhi farmhouse on the outskirts of Asola village near Fatehpur Beri. The two had been staying at the farmhouse for at least a month paying up Rs. 4 lakh rupees as rent. Nine cars were recovered from their possession and a case under section 30 of
the Arms Act is being registered against the four bouncers acting as their bodyguards as they were in possession of illegal fire arms.
