Learning from my mistakes: First runner up Reshma speaks up

The judges panel included model and actor Sanjay Kumar Asrani, model, actress and writer Vanisree Bhatt, model and actor Rajeev Pillai, managing editor of Kanyaka – Toshma Biju, model and actor Kaushal Manda. The subtitles were also judged by a panel of experts.

Reshma was super excited when was asked about the accommodation, “Mere words can’t describe how good it was. Pegasus team headed by Ajit sir and Jebitha maám ensured that we were comfortable, had good food and slept peacefully. We had no worries. Hospitality was great! Groomers were friendly and nice. The training was so good that by the end, the girls with less experience were also ready to rock!”. Reshma is going to gym regular and has a healthy diet plan. “But I eat everything though. Even during our stay at Beaumont, there was no limitation for food and there was no strict diet plan. I enjoyed my breakfast more but limited my lunch and had a healthier diet during dinner. Food and stay were the best part about the whole experience” she laughed.

She is preparing well for the next big step, Miss Queen of India and the winner of Miss Queen of India will represent India in Miss Asia contest. “I am ready for Miss Queen of India in a way” said a candid Reshma “I learned a great deal from my experience in Miss South India and hopefully, I am able to compensate all that. However, competition will be much more intense as contestants will be from all over India. But, I guess you have to do everything you could on that platform to create a good impression and the result will come to you and I will accept it with open arms. Fingers crossed”.

As we wrapped up the conversation, Reshma left a message to young girls who dream of being in beauty pageants. “Do what you are passionate. Have no second thoughts when you find what your heart desires. Obstacles will come and anticipate failure but all the steps will take you to your dreams”
