Parfum Monde Dubai Confident Group Miss South India 2016 in Bangalore
Kochi: Parfum Monde Dubai Confident Group Miss South India 2016 powered by Manappuram – A Pageant to discover the freedom of expression and talent for the women of India (South).The 13th edition is organized by PEGASUS, South India’s leading event Management Company. The pageant will be strictly abiding the culture and tradition of India.
Miss South India is a platform which gives Indian girls an opportunity to reach Miss Asia contest, said Mr. Ajit Ravi, Chairman of Pegasus, in the press meet held at Beaumonde The Fern hotel.
Prior to the finale, auditions were held in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kochi & Chennai. 18 contestants from all over south were selected for the finale to be held at Confident Amoon, Bangalore on January 9th. The contestants representing Kerala are Archana Ravi from Cochin, Merilyn Hamlet from Calicut, Megha Nair from Thiruvanathapuram and Pooja Mohan from Calicut.
The final event of the pageant consists of three and a half hour program with three sequences and cultural extravaganzas and will be directed by Ajit Ravi Pegasus. 18 contestants from South India will walk the ramp for the grand finale.
The Event would be judged by renowned personalities from the different walks of life.
The grooming sessions prior to the finale will also be held at Confident Amoon, Bangalore, Karnataka from January 4th. These sessions will consist of yoga, meditation, personality development, catwalk, beauty tips, Photo shoot, Interaction, Talent search, etc.… This will help the contestants to enhance their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. Grooming section will be completely focused on the culture and tradition of South India. The girls are groomed by an expert panel of fashion choreographers and trainers.
The winners will be getting a gold plated crown designed by Mr. & Mrs. Prakashan Parakkat. The title winner will win a Lakh rupee, the first runner up with Rs.60, 000/- and second runner up with Rs.40, 000/- sponsored by Parfum Monde Dubai Confident Group. All the sub title winners will be given with gifts.
Apart from the title winners, the other regional titles to win are Miss Queen Andhra, Miss Queen Karnataka, Miss Queen Kerala, Miss Queen Telangana and Miss Tamilnadu & the subtitles to win are Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Congeniality, Miss Personality, Miss Cat Walk, Miss Perfect 10, Miss Talent, Miss Viewer’s choice and Miss Photogenic. The three sequences include the designer saree round, Red Cocktail and Black Gown. The subtitles will be judged by a panel of experts.
Only invited guests would be allowed to watch the show. There would be a dress code for the event.
