Lamb Cassarole


  • lamb pieces  –    500gms.
  • Garlic cloves – 5
  • spring onions – 2
  • oil – ½ cup
  • soya sauce – 4 tablespoons
  • star anise – 1
  • sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste


  • cut and clean the meat,boil in water for  one minute,drain and set aside.
  • Heat the oil and stir fry the garlic and spring onions.To this add the meat and other remaining  items.Now add enough water  up to the level of meat.Cook on low heat till the lamb is well done.
  • Transfer to a casserarole dish and garnish with thinly sliced spring onions.Sprinkle a teaspoon of hot oil on the top of this and it is ready to serve.
