UNIQUE TIMES – Kurds decry Turkish safe zone plan
According to the reports from the Turkey’s pro-Kurdish party, it has been reported that Turkey and the US are planning to form a safe zone in Syria which is an attempt to stop the Kurdish attack. Selahattin Demirtas, the HDP chairman had stated that the Turkey’s operation against the Islamic State acts like a protective cover against the PKK and urged both Turkey and PKK to return to peace. On this the Ankara had reported that there will be no way for any peace attempts. A series of clashes were being reported since the few months back. Turkey had been attacked by the IS-led militants in which nearly 32 people died in the border town of Suruc last week. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had stated that this could not be made possible and the war would be stopped at any cost. Now he along with 100 business leaders and investors are now in China for meeting up to discuss their economic growth.
