Karnataka with BJP, indicates By-Poll result

As a perfect climax to the years-long political uncertainty commenced with the formation of an questionable post-poll alliance between the Congress and the JD(S) in the state of Karnataka to surmount the verdict of the people of the state – which backed the BJP’s claim for the seat of power in the state, the saffron party has emerged powerful in at least eleven of the fifteen seats, which fell vacant after the MLAs from the seats, belonged to the Grand Old Party and the state’s powerful regional party, left to the rightist camp.

What the latest updates from the by-poll constituencies indicates is that the people of the state has accepted the, so called, unethical departure of the Congress and the JD(S) MLAs to the BJP camp.

The development is a big relief to the Yeddyurappa-led BJP government in the state, which requires at least six more sets to retain majority in the house.

The possible victory in at least eleven of the fifteen seats means the possible removal of the BJP government from power after the by-poll election is out of question.

The Congress and JD(S) now have to explain why they have failed to convince their supporters why they have failed to convince the electorate of the by-poll constituencies.
