Karnataka CM lands in serious trouble due to a controversial telephone conversation
Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has landed in serious trouble due to a controversial telephone conversation in which he was caught giving order to someone to avenge the death of his party worker who had been brutally killed some days ago.
The video which shows the conversation is going viral in the social media platforms. Many say that it is not the way a CM should react. Some even consider it as the abuse of power.
Importantly, in the controversial conversation, he has been found giving assurance to the person in the other head of the phone that he would make sure that no trouble happen to the avengers.
It is the part of the conversation that has prompted many to come openly against the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
There are allegations that those in power use their power to stifle their opposition. The prime opposition party of the state, BJP, has already raised similar allegation.
It is learned that the saffron party is likely to invite the attention of their central leadership in the issue.
Meanwhile, Mr Kumaraswamy justifies his statement, saying that it is an emotional statement, not an order.
