Intelligence official’s complaint jolts US presidency badly
A formal complaint made by an US intelligence official to his senior has brought serious trouble to the president of the world’s most powerful country, Donald Trump.
As per the complaint, the US present gave improper promise to a foreign leader.
The information has been publicised by some leading national dailies based in the United States.
The information does not include to whom the US president gave his improper assurance and to which country that the special assurance was offered.
There is a rumour that Ukraine is the country involved. There were reports that the US had talked to the Ukraine supremo through phone days before the filing of the compliant by the US official.
An unacknowledged report says that the US president forced the Ukrainian president to launch an investigation against Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, who had stakes in a Ukrainian gas company.
The report adds that Mr Trump assured something concrete in exchange of that help to the country of Ukraine, which is not in a stable state due to its rivalry with its neighbour, Russia.
A political observer has questioned the attempt made by the White House to prevent the information from reaching the lawmaking body of the country.
Anyway, Mr Trump has denied all allegations levelled against him. He mockingly said he was not fool to discuss such things through phone.
However, the issue has the potential to disturb the political terrine of the country extensively in the coming days.
