Unique Times – Infosys Founder: No big invention from India

The founder of Infosys N R Narayana Murthy has raised his opinion saying that there has been no big invention from India in the past sixty years that has either become a household name globally, or an idea that has led to the earth shaking theory invention. Mr. Murthy has stated that the Indian youngsters till now have not done any impactful research work apart from being equal to their counterparts in terms of intellectual and energy in the Western universities. He explained it by saying the Massachusetts Institute where it had created about ten major inventions in the last 50 years which includes Global Positioning System, Bionic Prostheses and Microchip. He added that they were ready to travel the impossible way to make it possible. He added that we should become more open minded in welcoming the foreign intellectuals and students. He also quoted that we should find out some time for our students and faculties to co-operate with the well-known universities abroad.
