HiLITE evolved as a group in 2003 with business operations based at Kozhikode, the district that benefitted the most from the Gulf boom of the 80’s. The state witnessed a heightened activity in the real estate sector at that time due to the perceptible demand in hospitality, residential and retail sectors and this provided further impetus for the group’s growth. It soon forayed into diverse sectors like construction, real estate, food and entertainment, education and more. In a short span, HiLITE emerged as a key brand in northern Kerala.

The flagship company of the group, HiLITE Builders, has been developing property in the Malabar region since 2003 and earned reputation as the most trusted builder delivering premium living spaces. From designing some of Kerala’s finest residential apartments to giving life to world-class shopping malls, the builder has come a long way in Kerala’s real estate scenario.

Focus Mall, the builder’s venture at Kozhikode, revolutionised the state’s shopping landscape and is deemed the first shopping mall in the state. The builder has eight completed residential apartment projects in the Malabar belt to its credit. It introduced the concept of community living in north Kerala with its venture ‘HiLITE Metromax’ located at the new bypass road near Thondayad junction. Metromax is the first CRISIL rated project in the region and the biggest apartment project in Kozhikode with 272 apartments and common amenities spanning 50,000 sq.ft.

Yet another ambitious project of the builder in Kozhikode, HiLITE City is being designed to be an urban integrated township comprising residential spaces (HiLITE Residency), commercial spaces (HiLITE Plaza) and retail spaces (HiLITE Mall) spanning across 15.6 acres of land.

Envisioned to become the best mall in south India HiLITE Mall is coming up on a grand 7 acres, with a built-up area of 13 lakh sq.ft. On completion, it would house more than 200 national and international branded retail outlets, a 3-star hotel, multiplexes, food courts, exclusive entertainment zones, health club and more. The 400 state-of-the art luxury apartments with all modern amenities at Residency convey amazing architectural splendor and elegance. Plaza is an exclusive office complex with twin ‘S’ shaped towers and a built-up space of over 10 lakh sq. ft. This redefined workspace will have facilities including helipad, multi cuisine food courts, Amphi Theater, conference hall and board rooms, water bodies besides professional facility management.

Spring Dale, the builder’s villa project consisting 110 exclusive villas in 20 acres of land, is designed as part of the Logocity Township Project, a self contained eco village with facilities including international school, shopping plaza and family club beside villas. Located at NH bypass Kochi in the vicinity of automobile giants like BMW, Mercedes Benz and multinational 5-star hotels, is the office complex, Platino, built in 1.2 acres of land.

The builder has further plans to establish malls in Thrissur and Kannur districts and resorts at Munnar and Kumarakom. The dream project of HiLITE MD P Sulaiman is a Satellite Township Project in North Kerala in an expanse of at least 500 acres.
