Hardik Patel likely to join hands with Congress
With the Congress Party showing the willingness to accept all the terms and conditions suggested by the Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti, the renowned Patidar leader, Hardik Patel is likely to join hand with the Congress party in the near future.
The first formal meeting between the Patidar organisation’s leaders and the Congress representatives took place on last day.
In the meeting, the Congress Party offered to withdraw all cases registered against the members who participated in the Patidar agitations, to constitute a Special Investigation Team to probe the police violence occurred during the 2015 Patidar agitation, to allow a sum of thirty-five lakh Indian rupees for each and every Patidar family who lost a member in the controversial police firing incident, and to establish a ‘Savarna Vikas Aayog’ with a huge budget amount of two thousand crore Indian rupees.
It is not clear whether the Patidar leader will meet Congress Scion Rahul Gandhi when the latter will visit the state for a three-day yatra tomorrow.
Meanwhile, those people in the PAAS who dislike the Hardik’s faction are likely to support the BJP in the upcoming Gujarat Assembly Elections.
The state has been witnessing a serious political game for last few months.
