Govt to honour martyrs with the ‘Walls of Heroes’

In an effort to nourish the patriotism among the Indian youth, the Indian government is set to erect the ‘Walls of Heroes’, the wall containing the photographs of all ‘Param Vir Chakra’ awardees, across our campuses in which our next generation is groomed. It is learned that the idea has been conceptualized by Tarun Vijay, the former BJP Member of Parliament. It is expected that nearly one thousand campuses across the country are likely to get the prestigious ‘Walls of Heroes’. According to the report, the universities are going to be asked to set up walls measuring 15*20 feet. It is said that the required fund for the wall project is likely to be collected from the students and teachers of the respected varsities in which the government plans to execute the project. It is believed that the pictures of the martyrs who sacrificed their life for our country would nourish the sense of the patriotism among our students who are marching towards the realities of life. The plan regarding the program has been publicised by Prakash Javadekar, the Minister of Human Resource Development, while participating in a function organised to launch the ‘Vidya Veerta Abhiyan’ program. He has strongly condemned the barbaric act allegedly carried out by the Pakistan army in strong words. Recently, the Pakistan army allegedly attacked the Indian post and mutilated the bodies of Indian soldiers. The incident evoked widespread anger against the Pakistan army. The Indian army assured that they would avenge the inhuman act.
