Fish Cutlets



Fleshy fish                                           – ½ Kg

Finely chopped onion                    – 1 cup

Finely chopped Ginger                  – 1 table spoon

Finely chopped green chilli          – 2 nos

Pepper powder                                                – ½ tea spoon

Tomato                                                – 1 (small)

Turmeric power                                                – a pinch

Mashed potato                                 – 1

Salt                                                         – to taste

Egg white                                            – 3 eggs

Bread crumbs and Oil                     – as desired


Method of preparation

Heat  1 table spoon oil in a pan and put ginger, onion, green chilli and sauté. Add finely chopped tomato and turmeric powder to it and sauté again.  Cook the fish and remove from bones and mashed it. Then add the mashed fish and mix well. Sprinkle pepper powder and mix thoroughly before removing from fire and add  mashed potato , salt and blend well. Roll it out  in desired shape and dip in egg white. Sprinkle bread crumbs over it and fry in hot oil.

Serve with tomato sauce
