Crab Roast

 

INGREDIENTS

Hot water -3 cup

Crab – 1 kg (whole cleaned)

Tomato – 4 (sliced)

Chilli powder – 3 teaspoon

Oil -8 teaspoon

Garam masala – 2 teaspoon

Ginger – 2 (paste)

Garlic – 2 (paste)

Pepper powder -3 teaspoon

Onion –  3 (chopped )

Curry leaves -2 string

Salt to taste

Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon

Coriander powder -3 teaspoon

Green chillies – 4 (chopped)

METHOD

  • Soaking the crabs. Cut into pieces
  • Heat oil in a pan , add chopped onions sauté well… Cook till the onions become brown colour.then add garlic paste, ginger paste , green chillies sauté for 5 mints . Then add chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder Cook for a few minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, curry leaves and salt and sauté well
  • Add crabs and combine well into the mix. Add  garam masala and pepper powder mix well..add some water into the mix .then covered the pan with lid and cook in 15 mints .. cook  until the crab is completely dry. Remove from the heat.
  • Serve it hot.
