Congress releases women-centric manifesto for Haryana

The Grand Old Party of Congress has released a women-centric manifesto for the Indian state of Haryana, which is going to polls soon.

The Congress party has promised nearly thirty-three per cent reservation for women in government jobs. The party has also assured the same per cent reservation for women in private institutions.

The centrist party has also promised nearly fifty per cent reservation for women in the local institutions.

The big announcement is aimed to attract the women voters of the state which makes a considerable number of the total voters of the state.

The Congress party is at present in a weak state in the state. The BJP is the ruling party in the state. Politically, the Saffron party is much more powerful than the Grand Old Party in the state at this juncture.

At this moment, it remains unclear how the move will influence the electorate of the state.
