jackfruit pieces- 20 pieces

Grated coconut – 1/4 cup

Green chilly – 5 nos

Onion- 1 ( thinly sliced)

Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

Red chilly powder – 1/2 tsp

Coconut oil – 3 tbsp

Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Raw mango – 1/4 cup
Water – 1/2 cup

Salt to taste


Cut the jackfruit into thin pieces. Grind the grated coconut, cumin seeds, green chillies into  paste.Heat a pan, add jack fruit pieces, turmeric powder, red chilly powder,onion, raw mango pieces, salt and water.Close with a lid and cook this for 10 minutes.
After 15 minutes, open the lid and add ground coconut paste and mix well. Cook this for 5 minutes more.Now open the lid and mix every thing together.Add curry leaves and coconut oil. Mix together and remove from the heat.
