BUTTER CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

Chicken   –  ½ kg

Chilli powder – 1 tsp

Curd – 2 tbs

Ginger and garlic paste – 1 tsp.

Salt to taste

Tomato – 6 nos

Onion – 5 nos

Chilli powder – 1 tsp

Ginger – 1 tsp

Garlic – 1 tsp

Garam masala – ½ tsp

Water – ½ cup

Poppy seeds  paste – 1 tbs

Cashew nut paste – 1 tbs

Butter – 2 tsp

Cream – ½ cup

 

METHOD

  1. Marinate the chicken with the chilli powder ,ginger garlic paste ,lime juice and salt for about half and hour.
  2. In a tandoori pan cook the chicken pieces until done.
  3. In a frying pan heat butter and fry onion ,ginger ,garlic , tomato, garam masala and chilli powder and add poppy seeds ,cashew nut paste and water to it.
  4. When the gravy begins to boil add cooked chicken pieces to it and boil for 2 minutes.serve it with the cream on top.
